Article 62.1. Issuance of a visa in connection with a short-term work of a foreigner in Estonia
(1) If an alien applies for a visa for short-term work in Estonia, his short-term work in Estonia must be previously registered with the Police and Border Guard Board.
(2) If an alien is issued a visa for short-term work in Estonia and the alien is a parent raising a minor child or the sole guardian of an adult child who, due to health reasons or due to physical or mental disabilities, is unable to live independently, visas may be issued for the same under the same conditions as the said foreigner. (2.1) If the short-term work of an alien in Estonia is registered for the purpose of scientific and applied activities, as an academic employee or an employee transferred within an enterprise on the basis of paragraph 2 of subsection 14 or subsection 13 of Art. 106 of this Act, a spouse, a minor child and an adult child who, due to health reasons or due to physical or mental disabilities, is unable to live independently, may be issued a visa for the period of the alien’s stay in Estonia, taking into account the conditions for issuing a visa.

(3) If the short-term employment of an alien in Estonia is registered and he/she has a legal basis for temporary residence in Estonia, the child of an alien may be issued a short-term or long-term visa if the alien is a parent raising a minor child or the sole guardian of an adult child who due to health reasons or due to the presence of physical or mental disabilities are not able to live independently.
